From Our President... (Feb-Mar 2018 Newsletter)

A Happy New Year to all our Fox Run Neighbors!  We thank everyone for "lighting up" our neighborhood during the holidays and congratulate the winners of our Christmas decorations contest.

As you have noticed, we have a lot of earth-moving activity going on at Nacogdoches and Fox Knoll.  Under development will be the Autism Treatment Center Life Activities Learning Center.  The 20,000 Sq Ft facility will be a weekday learning center for adult and children Autistic Patients.  We will get an update from the ATC Development Director at our next Community Meeting.  Speaking of which, our next FRNA Community Meeting will be held on Tuesday February 6th at the Semmes Library from 6:00-7:30 PM.  Please plan to attend to get caught up on Fox Run Community activities and discussion of issues in your community.

For 2018, we have added a new 3rd VP and realigned the responsibilities of the other two VPs.  Our 1st VP, Stephen McFarland, will be our Neighborhood Watch and COP Program Coordinator and provide neighborhood safety and security information via our Nextdoor site.  Charles Gruber, our 2nd VP will take over as our Communications Director, which will include publishing our bi-monthly Fox Run Newsletter, managing the Fox Run Website, and serving as principle Administrator for the Fox Run Nextdoor site.  We welcome Kathy Bagley as our 3rd VP serving our Community Outreach needs.  Kathy will be coordinating on issues affecting our neighborhood with city resources, including our District 10 Councilman Clayton Perry.  Kathy will also focus on needs within the Fox Run Community to help people connect with needed resources.  Jeanmarie Traversi will serve on the board as a Special Projects resource, giving up responsibilities as Secretary.  Jeff Aldridge will continue to serve as our FRNA Treasurer.  We are still seeking out someone to serve as the FRNA Secretary, so if you are interested in joining our community team please contact me.

Finally - we would like to see all Fox Run Residents get involved with our community, starting with a voluntary Fox Run Neighborhood Association annual dues of only $25.00 and signing up for our community bulletin board on the Nextdoor website.  We thank each of you for your support in making Fox Run a great neighborhood.
