From Our President – February 2024

First of all, I wish to thank all those that have served on the FRNA board over the past 2023 year and thank our Volunteer of the Year, Carol Ann Weitzel for her continuing efforts to make our entry ways beautiful.  We also welcome two new members to the FRNA Board – Alban Benavides on Fox Creek and Kristen Smith on Fox Knoll.  Thanks to all who dedicate themselves to making Fox Run at special community.

In an effort to provide better community communications, we have continued to leverage the NextDoor site capabilities.  Our new board member Alban is in the process of standing up a Fox Run Facebook presence (see his article later in this Newsletter).  We are planning a numberof activities in the next few months – please consider getting involved with them:

Community Meeting – Wednesday, March 27th @ 6:30 PM at the ATC Activity Room

Topics to include: District 10 Update, Rolling Oaks Planning District Update, SAFFE Officer presentation, drainage issues, traffic issues, and future FRNA Events.

Community Clean-up Day – Saturday, April 27th 8:00-12:00

Neighborhood and area clean-up.  San Antonio waste truck available for bulk item disposal.  Entry clean-up.  Special needs neighbor assistance.

Annual Yard Sale – Saturday. May 4th

See article for Yard Sale Information

Please note that Voluntary Dues of $25 / year are greatly appreciated to support the ongoing activities of your FRNA.  Thank you for your support.
